Reno Attractions

reno3.jpgThe Animal Ark of Reno is a wild animal park and nature reserve. The animals that end up here are most often rescued from situations where they would have been killed or harmed. The park was established in 1980 when the park cofounders adopted a pair of wolves who could no longer survive in the wild. The desire to educate and inform the public about these misunderstood animals eventually led to one of the largest animal rescue facilities in the area. You´ll find many of New Mexico´s native animals in this interactive, up close and personal animal park. It´s a must see for Reno residents and visitors alike.
